Join PRUE GREENTREE and CASSIE MCCLEMENTS for our annual Autumn Retreat Weekend to GLASTONBURY, UK.

Our intention is to set the scene so that you can take time out of your usual routine to rest and rejuvenate in the peaceful setting of a beautiful ashram - a Bhakti devotional space that allows you to just BE for a while, where you will feel like you have been away for a week, not just the weekend!

We live in a world where success seems to equal stress and all our hard work and long hours are taking a serious toll on our health, relationships and life balance. Our souls are hungry for time out in a bid to restore our natural wonder.

Set in the beautiful English county of Somerset, Glastonbury is believed to be the 4th Earth Chakra, the Heart. To say that this village is legendary is actually somehow an understatement, it has been recognized as a spiritual center since the megalithic era. It is the site of the first Christian church in the British Isles and claimed to be the Avalon of the King Arthur tale. The village of Glastonbury itself is pretty small but very quaint, cradled among a series of velvety green hills.

Outside of the ashram feel free to enjoy the picturesque country evening sunsets, a walk to the top of Glastonbury Tor, sample the local food, explore the colourful and creative local shops whilst you explore and expand your understandings about Yoga from the inside.

This is a great opportunity for a DIGITAL DETOX!
This long weekend is particularly special as you will have the unique experience of a number of teachers and facilitators across the weekend.

Passionate and empowering yoga teachers Prue and Cassie offer three-day intensive all-inclusive yoga weekends to people of all levels. Every retreat focuses on bringing you back to the source, your true self and settling your heart and mind while reconnecting your body and nourishing your soul.

During yoga asana practice you will benefit from having the combined experience of two teaching styles and perspectives, Prue and Cassie. By supporting each other and your practice through team teaching their classes and workshops, Prue and Cassie will take you deeper into breathing, alignments, adjustments and understandings of yoga.

We place a big focus on yoga and the beautiful journey within - the greatest journey you can ever make, but we also understand your deisre to explore. You will have free time each day to enjoy the rich delights of this magical area.

This is a rare experience to explore the wider scope of “Yoga”

Bring sensible walking shoes, yoga clothing, an open mind and a big smile and get ready to evolve!

Shekinashram is a bhakti yoga ashram, situated on the side of Chalice Hill, and it has been a hub of activity in Glastonbury since its inception in 2003. It is run on a mostly voluntary basis and operates without motivation for profit. It is a place of worship, and acts as a space of sanctuary for many.

Manifested from the evolution of Shekinashram, Shekinah Yoga Retreat is a centre for it’s guests, visitors, and organisers to evolve, transform and deepen in their own practice in a safely held space, and an inspiring environment for the nourishment of the mind, body and soul.

We are an ethical business that advocates incorporating yoga into everyday life, promoting health, wellbeing, healing and renewal through following the 4 paths of yoga:
Bhakti yoga – love and devotion.
Jnana yoga – knowledge of the Self.
Raja yoga – control of the mind – self mastery.
Karma yoga – selfless service.

Our aim is that everyone involved feels empowered to lead vibrant creative lives through the practice of yoga and meditation.

We invite all involved to discover their own true nature through comprehensive yoga and meditation practice for all levels utilising workshops, immersive retreats, teacher trainings and philosophical study. We aim to achieve a level of equilibrium that enables us to experience the challenges of our human lives with open hearted ease.

We are committed teachers, workshop leaders, volunteers and owners inspired by a work environment where individuals lead, and are part of a retreat centre that thrives on personal connection, nonviolence and a spirit of freedom.

Shekinah is the visible, feminine aspect of the Divine. The descent of grace into the manifest universe.
