Yoga Menu & Booking


 

Prue teaches a variety of Yoga based classes, personal one to one yoga and Corporate classes in your office.

Whether you are just starting to explore yoga, re-introducing yourself to yoga in your life again or have been practicing for a number of years on your journey; Prue will adapt each class to suit each individuals levels and ability.

Prue has devised 6 week yoga programs that help you achieve you personal lifestyle goals, e.g. improve your posture, weight loss, increase strength or flexibility, reduce stress, coping with anxiety or depression. Additionally I provide complementary training exercises to balance your existing training plans such as running, triathlons or football to help prevent injury or recover from one.

 

Hatha Yoga

Helps balance busy life styles; relaxing, slowing down and quietening the mind.
 

Ashtanga

This practice moves through the Primary series of postures, linked together with flowing vinyasa.
 

Vinyasa / Flow Yoga

A flowing Dynamic sequence of postures designed for conditioning, toning and focus. This class emphasises the connection of movement with the breath. 
 

Hot Yoga and Hot Flow

The room is heated allowing muscles, ligaments and tendons to be warmed and stretched in a specific sequence. This is a cardiovascular class, rejuvenating the entire system and a great way to detox.

Pregnancy Yoga

Connecting mothers with their baby by using yoga movement and breath, to help them feel more confident and comfortable, plus couples preparation for labour and birth.
 

Postnatal Yoga: giving “me time” to mothers

This offers a chance to regain energy and vitality.
 

Restorative & Yin Yoga

Using the slow movement of the body with the rhythm of the breath to open the body and focus the mind. Holding postures for an extended time to help open up and release the connective tissue.
 

Meditation & Pranayama

Using breathing exercises, pranayama, to create inspiration and mindfulness, thereby reducing stress.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga for anxiety and depression. Or yoga for healing and preventing sports injury / people with disabilities, in particular wheelchair based people with MS. 
 

Yoga Nidra

“Yogic sleep" Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.
 

Indian Head Massage

A deeply relaxing head and scalp massage at the end of your practice in savasana!

Spring Yoga & Food Retreat Day
plus an introDUCTION to vegetarian cooking

Join PRUE GREENTREE for an Urban SPRING Mini Retreat Day to nourish the Body and Mind.

The day will start with a gentle yoga (meditation and asana practice) followed by an educational discussion about yoga, food and health. We will then all cook and eat together "family style".

The menu will be based on seasonal yogic food using the principals of Ayurveda and will cover easy to follow nutricious reciepes that you can make at home for yourself and your friends / family to enjoy.
This will be a relaxing day of yoga and food!

Places are limited to 4 people.
Cost £30 per person, non-refundable.

Yoga Trance Dance is for every body! So, whether you love to dance or loath to dance, you will enjoy the universal rhythmic world beats of Yoga Trance Dance. 

Journeying to London from LA, Ariana is an energetic ritual leader who knows how to spark the dance fire! Join us for a fun community ritual of meditation, yoga, and ecstatic dance.

Yoga Trance Dance with Ariana Bates is an opportunity to break free and drop into the heart beat; a space to "move the way love moves.” Shiva Rea 

Do you remember that feeling when the music takes over your body and movement becomes effortless? Take a minute to close your eyes and remember...Swirling around in the trance like sahaja movement of meditation. In Sanskrit, the word Sahaja means spontaneously. How much of your life is spent in Sahaja or moving spontaneously? In the modern world, we all have appointments, responsibilities, routines, alarm clocks, marathons to run and yoga sequences to do. A great deal of our day is spent following the rules inside the lines. My heart is calling in more space for creativity and magic; my body is calling for the freedom to move.
